Herbert Hofmann Prize 2020: Winners chosen

The winners of the Herbert Hofmann Prize were announced by the jury even though the 2020 Internationale Handwerksmesse and SCHMUCK special exhibition in Munich were cancelled. Despite the fact that the award ceremony did not take place on site, the award and announcement of the winners was an important event for this year's prize winners Melanie Isverding (Germany), Katrin Feulner (Germany), and Carla Nuis (Netherlands), not least due to the international reputation of the award.

Cancellation of the Internationale Handwerksmesse 2020

The organising company GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH has decided to cancel the 2020 edition of the Internationale Handwerksmesse, including Handwerk & Design and Garten München. This decision was made in light of the spread of the Coronavirus/Covid-19 and the urgent recommendation of the Bavarian government’s crisis team to cancel or postpone any large international trade shows until further notice. This also applies to the Internationale Handwerksmesse, which will take place again in 2021.
