I use traditional Korean techniques and incorporate abstract Korean emotions into my work.

Decoration can be painted on with white engobe or layered several times through white engobe to reveal the dark body. I use surface design with stencils, tools, brushes or stamps, engrave, cut out and apply. These classic techniques offer a wide range of possibilities and inspiration, which I continue to work on.

Cone shape, cylinder, spherical section - harmony and rhythm in the composition of shapes and colours. Fingerprints on each piece bear witness to the deliberately minimalist simplicity of the hand-worked clay walls; piece by piece, round by round, I build each form in a concentrated structure.

The purist style of my works creates a visual and haptic surface effect that documents the trace of excellent craftsmanship as well as the thoughtfulness, the concentrated, quasi-meditative construction phase and the inner striving for perfection.

Every tree is different. Every trunk has its very own grain and every plank its own shape and colouring. This unique aesthetic and diversity of wood play a central role in my designs. The works consciously emphasisethe natural form and wood pattern through their minimalist design, thus giving the majestic tree a second life as a piece of furniture. In order to preserve the natural essence of the wood as much as possible, no metal joints are used in production, only wooden joints. The manufacturing process itself is characterised by traditional craftsmanship and the use of age-old techniques. The aim is to design and buildfunctional yet artistically appealing furniture that will last for many generations thanks to its timeless elegance and precise craftsmanship.

Working artfully with simplicity, being able to design every ‘corner’ of the workpiece and breaking out of the visual habit a little is what interests us in the handcrafted creative process. The aim of MALAN is to flatter and surprise visually and haptically.

My work explores the poetry of life, the beauty of impermanence, and the value of transformation. Through material experimentation, I incorporate biopolymers, eco-resins, recycled silver, plant-based dyes, and natural elements to create jewelry that transcends the tangible. By embracing materials that evolve, degrade, or change, my pieces highlight the ephemeral nature of existence and its profound beauty.

My jewelry is an attempt to keep sensuality in a rational world.

These are not just decorations for the sake of decorations. These are decorations, art objects that speak for me, they broadcast my thoughts and emotions. It seems interesting to me when the decoration becomes a non-verbal carrier of certain information. From 2022, all my jewelry is aimed at drawing the world's attention to russia's current criminal war against Ukraine.

FEINWERKK JEWELLERY - MORE THAN HANDMADE!

Feinwerkk jewellery is doubly handcrafted. Each piece is hand-crocheted by the qualified designer Kerstin Kavalirek and then cast in precious metal, whereby the individual character is retained. Since 2006, the small manufactory ‘Feinwerkk’ has stood for handmade jewellery with exceptional design and attention to detail. Silver, gold, palladium and platinum are combined with precious stones from Idar-Oberstein and high-quality cultured pearls. Feinwerkk works closely with experts from the gemstone metropolis in the production process.

At «Handwerk & Design», I am presenting an exploration of emotional cycles through interactive jewellery and small objects, which connect to my larger installation work, Text-Ashes-Ink. Visitors can look forward to engaging with pieces that invite reflection on the regeneration of emotions and memories. I'm excited about the fair because it offers a unique platform to showcase how personal narratives can intersect with universal experiences through art.

At «Handwerk & Design», I am bringing several contemporary jewellery collections that explore the essence and close relationship between architecture, jewellery, and the human body through materiality. My collections examine the intertwined relations between visualizations, emotions, and the nature of materials, highlighting how materials transform under different environments.

Hand-thrown vessels are my passion and I have been quite addicted to clay since my training and subsequent graduation as a master craftsman. The current focus is on vases and tea bowls inspired by Asian ceramic forms and simple Bauhaus shapes. My passion is to combine traditional ceramic craftsmanship with modern influences. I am delighted to be at the trade fair in Munich for the first time to present my work. For me, the symbiosis of tradition and modernity is particularly well reflected in Munich, where it both preserves the historical identity and paves the way for new developments in craftsmanship.

We are Patricia and Andrés. Self-taught. Since 2008 we make different jewelry, in its concept and in its material. Simple and straightforward elements that, by their shape, color and texture offer a strong visual impact. We are inspired by the shapes that different materials adopt when subjected to manipulation and, playing with them, we compose "small sculptures to wear".

Our jewelry is entirely handmade and handcrafted. For this, we use "Soft Glass", which we work with a blowtorch and blow in our workshop, and silver, which we work from scratch with goldsmith techniques.We also use nylon and pvc for the threads of the earrings and the cords of the necklaces.

The main element of our work, since 2022, is Glass, a material with infinite plastic properties, which allows us to create new forms without limits to our imagination. Glass has been with us every day since ancient times. It has been considered a noble material, and at certain times, almost a product of alchemy. Today it is present in countless fields and areas and has all kinds of applications. Thanks to its nature, resistant and fragile at the same time, translucent, amorphous, totally recyclable and of great beauty, it is an ideal material for creating art. In addition, since December 6, 2023, the Glass Craft has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.

Tim is a german master craftsman of gold- and silversmithing and freelance metaldesigner. Therefore his work forms a synergy of craft, design and art. he draw his inspiration from the observation of nature and science, as well as philosophical principles and concepts like wabi-sabi, brutalism and suprematism. His work ranges from abstract composition to figural sculpture. The Emphasis in the creation lies in the experience of the immaterial non-object within every object and the impact it has on its bearer. Through my work I aspires to enrich people by giving them companions for everyday life and tools for self-expressing.

Turkish Contemporary Jewelry Collective

Jewelry Links* is a 8-year old collective created by 16 Turkish contemporary jewelry designers. Over the years, the collective has introduced contemporary Turkish jewelry to an ever-growing audience by participating in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.

Members of the creative collaboration add a contemporary dimension to the traditional concept of jewelry by working  with unconventional materials, techniques, design ideas and methods.

The collective’s goal is to increase awareness and interest in Turkish contemporary jewelry and hopefully even love for it, both locally and abroad, by providing it more exposure.

* The collective has chosen the name Jewelry Links as they believe that jewellery is a lovely way to connect with others.

SG contemporary jewellery is a company they make creation and manufacturing of unique precious metal jewelry. Made in 925 Silver, these jewels are inspired by themes such as architecture, art, design.

Each piece is handmade by the designer herself in her workshop in Hauts-de-France. Her approach is to look for new often unconventional forms. Each piece design is the result of an alchemy between tradition and innovation. She likes to create « objects » with architectural lines that have the function of being jewels.

Olga Radionova is a textile artist, working in different medias, mostly sculpture. Her jewelry pieces are unique, always created in one of a kind. He works with textile, leather, crochet. All pieces are voluminous and large, but light, soft and tactile.

Sau-Lun Yeung is a multidisciplinary artist who merges traditional silversmithing and jewellery-making techniques with found objects and bio-materials to create contemporary jewellery and art pieces.

His research project, “Cabinet of Symbiosities,” investigates the relationship between the UK and British Hong Kong through experimental practices that blend scientific inquiry with jewellery art. Starting with his collection of found objects in London, he discovered that many found objects like specimens and ceramics bear colonial symbols and are not originally from the UK.

Lun recently graduated from the Jewellery and Metal program at the Royal College of Art. His award-winning collection, “Cabinet of Symbiosities,” was showcased at @theforgespace , and he has been invited to join @thesocietyofbritishjewellers.

Founded in 2011, his artisan jewellery brand, @thepolskatraveller, originated in Hong Kong and has been exhibited internationally in locations including Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and Germany.
