TALENTE – MEISTER DER ZUKUNFT 2022: Future-focussed skilled crafts exhibition!

The special exhibition TALENTE – MEISTER DER ZUKUNFT (talents - masters of the future) will be presenting works by young designers from all around the world as part of the «Handwerk & Design» trade fair at the Internationale Handwerksmesse 2022 (IHM). Innovations from various skilled crafts, including textiles, glassware, ceramics and jewellery, will be on show. From approximately 600 applications, a panel of experts selected a total of 96 participants from 30 countries, including China, Korea, Estonia, Georgia, Taiwan, Great Britain and Ukraine. From 6 to 10 July 2022, the international newcomers will be exhibiting their works to a broad spectrum of visitors in Hall B5.

EXEMPLA 2022 The small world exhibition

Finally! The «Handwerk & Design» trade fair, including all its special exhibitions, had to be cancelled twice because of the pandemic, but now it can be held again this summer – together with EXEMPLA. From 6 to 10 July 2022, the special exhibition will present the best works of creative skilled crafts and applied art. Experts and interested laypeople will travel from all across the world to see the sector’s finest and most innovative works.

SCHMUCK 2022: Jewellery summit

Munich plays a prominent role on the international jewellery scene. This is in part because it hosts the special show SCHMUCK (that’s the German word for jewellery) at the leading trade fair for the skilled crafts sector «Handwerk & Design»: the most innovative creations of artistic jewellery d’auteur have been presented here for over 60 years. This year, after a break of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, SCHMUCK will be held from 6 to 10 July 2022 in hall B5 of the Munich Exhibition Centre.

Accreditation

Please make sure to use the possibility of online pre-accreditation in our ticket portal.
 
Media representatives can obtain accreditation during the fair from 9:00 am onwards on site at our Press Helpdesk at Entrance East on presentation of the following documents (access to the halls from 9:30 am):

  • Valid press card and
  • the imprint of the publication (editorial staff member) or
  • a current article marked with name

Please note our accreditation guidelines.

Press tickets do not include free use of public transport.

Press lounge

The Press Lounge is located at Entrance East, ground floor (subway station Messestadt Ost), Opening hoursdaily 09:00 a.m. – 06:30 p.m., Sunday until 06:00 p.m.

We offer the following services in the Press Lounge:

  • current press releases and press dates 
  • Internet access with WLAN
  • workstations
  • free hot and cold drinks and snacks

Press parking

Free parking at Fairground Munich in parking areas P1 North and P7 (Paul-Henri-Spaak-Strasse).

The current press pass must be shown upon entry.
