TALENTEmünchen - MEISTER DER ZUKUNFT 2025

TALENTE – Meister der Zukunft 2025: A platform for young designers

The TALENTE – Meister der Zukunft 2025 event provided an impressive platform for young designers from all over the world. With 92 participants from 27 countries, works from 12 different trades were presented. Particularly noteworthy this year were the contributions from countries such as Belarus, Colombia, Zimbabwe and China, which emphasised the diversity and global perspective of the event. The exhibition provided a stage for exceptional works in glass, ceramics, jewellery and textiles - always with a focus on innovation and creativity.

Focus on sustainability and social responsibility

A central theme of this year's exhibition was the examination of sustainability and the reuse of existing resources. Works that transformed electronic devices or textile remnants into new, attractive designs impressively demonstrated the possibilities of recycling and upcycling. The young designers also addressed social issues such as support for wheelchair users and climate control in urban areas. For example, plantable façade tiles were presented that were both functional and aesthetic. These projects illustrated the connection between creativity, responsibility and the search for solutions to current challenges.

Synergy of craftsmanship and technology

Another focus was on the combination of digital and traditional craft methods. The designers used digital technology as a source of inspiration and a tool, without losing sight of the value of craftsmanship. Examples of this were the transfer of computer models into handcrafted products or the experimental use of digital techniques to optimise traditional processes. The works showed how tradition and innovation could complement each other to open up new perspectives on design and production. The focus was on experimentation and openness to new trends, without forgetting the roots of craftsmanship.
