SPECIAL SHOW JEWELLERY 2024

THE SUMMIT MEETING OF JEWELLERY ART

The special show has been presenting highly creative artistic author jewellery for almost 65 years. Artists, gallery owners, collectors and jewellery lovers from all over the world travel to Munich every year especially for this show.

THIS YEAR'S CURATOR: NORMAN WEBER

Norman Weber is a jewellery artist and artistic director of the state vocational school for jewellery and glass in Neugablonz. He selected more than 60 works from 600 applications.
Previous curators have included British artist Caroline Broadhead (2023) and jewellery icon Helen Britton (2022).

SPECIAL EXHIBITION WITH A DEDICATION

This year's small special exhibition "Classics of Modernism" was dedicated to Georg Dobler. Dobler is known for his work with particularly large gemstones, among other things.

MUNICH JEWELLERY WEEK

Parallel to "Handwerk & Design", the "Münchner Schmucktage" took place with dozens of other exhibitions, performances and lectures.
